My Story

When I, like many others, received the devasting news of my mum's Alzheimer's diagnosis back in 2022, one of my first thoughts was of the availability of treatments and therapies to help slow the progression of the disease.

While many of these options are still in their early stages, and my mum is unfortunately too far along to likely benefit from them, charities like Alzheimer’s Society continue to work tirelessly to discover new ways to combat this cruel disease and reduce the needless suffering of those affected.

I am proud to be running the Cardiff Marathon, channelling my energy into raising funds for Alzheimer’s Society. Together, we are advocating for change and supporting vital scientific research that can drive progress in this fight. Your support means the world to me and countless others facing this challenge.
