Like too many other's my family and I have experienced the impact of Dementia. For us, it has been my dad, the man who started me running as a child, got me involved in my first club, supported me at races through my teenage years. On the desk in his room is a picture of me at the end of my first London marathon. Sadly, he no longer remembers any of this. I'll be running the Cardiff Half marathon with my daughter, Ella, in supprt of Alzeimer's Society.
